#bareyoursole challenge

Bare Your Sole is Habitat for Humanity Singapore’s annual barefoot fundraising and advocacy campaign participants come together barefoot to raise awareness of the less fortunate among us. It offers a tangible taste of what it’s like to walk in the shoes, or lack thereof, of the poor communities that Habitat Singapore serves in Asia. - This year, to adapt to the Covid-19 situation, Project Hiraeth has come up with an initiative to take Bare Your Sole online!
Through such an online challenge, we would wish to raise awareness for our campaign and to fundraise for Habitat for Humanity’s work.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

  • Post a photo of yourself barefoot outdoors (either on Instagram story or a post, preferably a post), with #BareYourSole2020 and tag at least 3 other friends.
  • Be creative with your caption. Include anything which raises awareness for HFH SG and relates to the message of poverty.
  • Do remember to include our link to donate https://give.asia/campaign/hiraeth#/ .If possible, we highly encourage participants to include the fundraising link as a link on their bio. While it is not mandatory to donate, we highly encourage donations as it will serve as concrete support for our beneficiaries.
  • To support our campaign, do tag our Instagram handles @proj_hiraeth and @habitatsingapore - Lastly, do spread the word and encourage those around you to join in on it as well!
